Excellent fast way to recall the subject and help your children learn

Most of us have not used algebra as we move into our everyday work world. Mr. Skudaev provides a fast easy way to bring back the concepts and procedures needed in algebra, but most importantly has has provided an excellent teaching tool. WE highly recommended his booklet.

Don't get the e-book!

It's a good book, but I HIGHLY encourage users NOT to get the e-book. It's so poorly formatted and I'm filled with regret that I didn't just get the hard copy. There are no page numbers, only locations, so it's nearly impossible to figure out where you are in the book or to navigate around to different sections. You have to go back to the table of contents each time you want to go to a new section (there's not even a side bar!). Not user friendly in the slightest.

Excellent Reference

Once again Lennart Lundh has created a book that is important to aviation and military enthusiasts, historians, and modelers. His well researched book lifts the cover off of the obscure world of US Army aircraft color schmemes and markings. With never-before-seen details, line drawings and rare photographs, Lundh's long overdue account provides a rare look at the fascinating world of Army aviation. I look forward to forthcoming titles from Lennart Lundh. Highly recommended.

Being interested in US Army Aviation I purchased this book expecting it to be similar to other works on camo and markings such as the well known "Air Force Colors" series by Squadron/Signal. Unfortunately the author does nothing more other than to cite "Army's Technical Orders, Service Requirements, Technical Bulletins and Technical Manual on painting and marking aircraft" and despite what the publisher's blurb would have you believe, exceptions to the rules are NOT discussed.
True there is a chapter on Non-Standard Colors & Markings but other than having a terrific selection of photos, it contains no insights by the author on colours used etc...As for individual unit markings, again no discussion whatsoever other than some photos...
In fact the only reason this plain recital of Army documents gets four stars is because of the outstanding photographic material provided.
Hundreds of photos both in colour & BW (and not the usual ones published one million times over the years) all in excellent reproduction.
Recommended but for only for the photos.

About the Author
Dr. Charles Lee Feinberg was one of the nation's leading authorities on Jewish history, Old Testament languages and customs, and biblical prophecy. He grew up in an orthodox Jewish home, studying Hebrew and related subjects in preparation for the rabbinate. Dr. Feinberg was involved with a number of research organizations, including the Society of Biblical Exegesis and the American Schools of Oriental Research at Jerusalem and Baghdad. He was the Dean, Professor of Semitics of Old Testament at Talbot Theological Seminary from 1952-75 and Dean, Emeritus, Professor of Semitics and Old Testament at Talbot Theological Seminary from 1975-79. He is the author of many books, including: 'God Remembers: A Study of Zechariah' 'Israel in the Last Days' 'The Sabbath and the Lord's Day' and 'Minor Prophets'

Best Commentary on Ezekiel from Dispensational Viewpoint

Teaching or preaching on Ezekiel can get tough, but Feinberg provides a fine interpretation of the text from a Premillennial, Dispensational, and Conservative viewpoint. Feinberg believes God is not through with Israel, but has future plans for his chosen nation (yet personal salvation is only available through Jesus Christ).

The book is highly intepretative, seeking out the original intent and meaning of the text. Feinberg often lists options of interpretation (from a conservative viewpoint) and then concludes which view seems the best.

Although it is anything but dumbed-down, this is an understandable work, not bogged down with numerous (unncessary) references to the Hebrew; Hebrew words that are significant are sometimes briefly expounded. This is 293 pages of meaningful interpretation, no fluff nor tedious technicalities. Feingberg does sometimes include a brief but meaningful application of the text.

This work is invaluable to pastor, professor, or serious layman alike. Ezekiel can get thick, but Feinberg is a great freind to take along on the journey! By far the best!

A short review of The Prophecy of Ezekiel by Charles L. Feinberg

This book is a reprint of an earlier publication. Dr. Feinberg a conservative theologian and recognized O.T. authority has done an excellent job of joining the technical with the devotional. Ezekiel is a difficult book to understand for the average layman, but Dr. Feinberg does much to make the book clear. I am using it, along with others, to prepare a series of Bible study lessons for an adult Sunday school class. It has very quickly risen to the top of the stack of sources I'm using.

Conservative Commentary on Ezekiel

Feinberg approaches the book of Ezekiel with the respect due to the Word of our Creator, King, Savior.
I am preaching through the Revelation. The Apostle John makes many references to the symbols Ezekiel used. Feinberg's book is very helpful.

A book of many laughs

This is a very silly book and will definitely make you chuckle if not laugh-out-loud! The mis-prints, bloopers and newspaper screw-ups are separated into various chapters such as; Animals, In the Kitchen, The Church (these always prove to be funny, though unintentional in most cases!), Medical and Scientific, Education, Sport, etc. A few examples are as follows: from a Cleveland paper, " he had the privilege also of viewing a number of rare Egyptian tummies." and, sign seen at a Cumberland church," This is the gate of heaven/ Enter ye all by this door/ This door is kept locked because of the draft." Ad in weekly paper: " Pedigree Pup Pies, price 10 guineas each." In the Marriage section, " The bride was very upset when one of her little attendants accidently stepped on her brain and tore it." As you can see, proofreading is very important, but not necessarily adhered to, one slip turns an otherwise legible sentence or phrase into gibberish, albeit funny and amusing gibberish! I love these types of book because they are easy to read and a pleasant way to pass a few minutes, whether you commute regularly or, like me, are crippled and must spend a good deal of time in bed. Plus, laughing is good for your health and soul! Get a copy of this book and enjoy some silly fun.

This is the funniest book ever published. I say that after a long career of looking for, reading, and collecting funny books. I keep a copy of it--and of its predecessors back to the original, W. W. Scott's Breaks: Unintentional Laughs by Tired Newspaper Men and Others (New York 1931)--on my desk and at my bedside. No matter how rotten my day has been, a random selection from It Must Be True makes me laugh almost instantly. Whenever I visit a retirement home or even a hospital, I take a copy with me--and every time it proves its subtitle. These are, literally, howlers. Get yourself a copy.

This is a quite unique book in the field. The title does not capture the breadth of information covered in this text. The authors not only compiled historical and modern uses of hara diagnosis (abdominal palpation) in the field of East Asian medicine, but also attempted a compilation of historical and modern literatures in an effort to explain how and why Japanese practitioners have placed such a strong emphasis on hara diagnosis. After introducing the historical literature, the text examines the several important concepts and models that are found in the early literature. In particular the internal pathways of the extraordinary vessels are discussed in detail. Mental and emotional correspondences and concepts in East Asian medicine are also discussed. The source theories of the Ling Shu and especially the Nan Jing are described in some detail. The concepts of the moving qi between the kidneys and the triple burner are described at great length, and in more detail than in most other books. Historical ideas about the anatomical basis of the triple burner and the channel systems, and speculations about the embryological development of these systems are also described. Modern anatomical correlates are postulated, examining the possible anatomical basis of the channel systems, extraordinary vessels, triple burner and moving qi between the kidneys, including detailed discussions about possible embryological correlations. Although speculative in nature, these discussions compile a wide and very interesting variety of theories that can extend our understanding of acupuncture.

The clinical chapters of the text describe basic methods of examining the hara, the various palpatory findings and their general interpretations. This is followed by a large chapter on abdominal shiatsu, and a compilation of traditional Japanese massage methods. The use of hara diagnosis in meridian therapy and especially in the work of Dr. Yoshio Manaka are detailed. The last two chapters extend Manaka's ideas compiling a variety of clinically useful ideas and methods including the system of open points. These chapters on the work of Manaka serve as a good introduction to the use of ion-pumping cords, and Manaka's general treatment approach.
